"Zero Risk" Protocols & Procedures

In the interest of protecting public safety in our space, we have implemented new protocols and procedures at our clinic in accordance with the Ministry of Health, Public Health Ontario and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

The safety and wellbeing of our clients and staff is a priority to us. As we work with expecting

mothers, the elderly, infants, and individuals who are considered high risk for COVID-19, we have implemented a "Zero Risk" policy at our studio. Below the list of our policy and procedures:

What To Expect Upon Arrival

  • Remain in your vehicle until the therapists open the front door

  • If comfortable, wear your own mask from home in the open clinic space and/or on the table (by choice)

  • Use hand sanitizer upon arrival at the clinic

  • Expect to be asked the pre-screening questionnaire before your treatment. If negative, the treatment will continue. If positive for ANY of the criteria on the checklist, your appointment for the day will be cancelled. A new appointment can be rebooked for another date upon proof of providing negative testing for COVID-19 OR the 14 day quarantine for COVID-19 has been satisfied

Precautions Taken Inside the Clinic:

 

Client Bookings:

  • Pre-screening clients before arriving

  • New clients fill-in COVID-19 checklist in health history form

  • Screen clients upon arrival and monitor during treatments for symptoms

  • Updating ongoing treatment notes of each client and any monitoring changes

 

Training:

  • All staff completing modules on Infection Prevention and Control from Public Health Ontario before working in either of the spaces at Level Wellness Studio

Inside the clinic:

  • Staff will be wearing approved masks

  • Locking doors between treatments

  • Wiping desks, chairs, surfaces and handles post treatment

  • Ensure washrooms, all interior handles (including doors, sink, toilet, grab bars,

  • soap dispensers), bottles and surfaces are disinfected after every washroom use

  • Wiping down iPad and/or Square payment if used post treatment

  • Using new gloves for every wipe down

  • Staggering appointments to reduce traffic in the waiting room

  • Increasing time between treatments to 30 minutes

  • Allowing for longer cleaning time of all surfaces (including massage tables, side

  • tables, face cradles, chairs, coat hooks, massage stools, door handles, gel

  • bottles and surfaces the bottles touch, vinyl pillow case covers and misc. therapy tools used in treatment), and replacing of pillow cases, linens and blankets

  • Chairs in the waiting room are reduced to 2

  • One person at the desk at a time to maintain the social distancing space of 6 feet​
